Sacroiliac Fusion

A sacro-iliac fusion can be performed with minimally invasive techniques such as an iFuse implant system. If a patient has been diagnosed with sacroiliac joint disease and injections and pain therapy have failed, then he or she may be a good candidate for this treatment. The iFuse Implant System is designed to provide fusion for the sacroiliac joint. This is accomplished by inserting small titanium implants across the sacroiliac joint to maximize post-surgical stability and weight bearing capacity.
